Winter Header 2016

Happy New Year! From toddler hikes to adult exercise classes, start 2016 on the right foot by joining us for one (or more) of our many programs designed to keep you happy and healthy.

 

Here are some of our upcoming offerings:

  • Opening Reception for the Deep Cut Gardens Photography Exhibit from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, January 2 at the Deep Cut Gardens Horticultural Center, Middletown.  Meet with the photographers of this charming exhibit. Light refreshments served.  The exhibit will then be open daily from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. January 3-31.  FREE!

  • Pilates Fusion from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, January 4-March 16 at the Dorbrook Recreation Area Activity Center, Colts Neck. Strengthen your core muscles while improving posture, toning your arms and legs, and increasing flexibility. Pre-registration and fee required.

  • Armchair Traveler from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesdays, January 5, February 2 & March 1 at the Thompson Park Visitor Center, Lincroft.  Discover how to get the most out of your recreational experiences during this lecture series.  Pre-registration and fee required.

  • The Casual Birder at 9 a.m. on Thursday, January 7 along the Henry Hudson Trail.  Meander with a Park System Naturalist during this laid-back bird walk. Meet in the Popamora Point parking lot in Highlands.  Open to ages 8 and up. FREE!

  • Hiking Adventures – A Toddler's Perspective from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 9 at Thompson Park, Lincroft.  Youngsters age 1-5 (with adult) are invited on this short hike designed for little legs and inquisitive minds.  Pre-registration and fee required.
