Sea Bright Day - Saturday, October 17th

The Sustainable Sea Bright Committee invites all residents and friends from neighboring towns to join us for the return of a Sea Bright tradition: Sea Bright Day, this Saturday, October 17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Sea Bright Municipal Parking Lot.
 
This family-friendly fund-raising event brings together the citizen volunteer committees of Sea Bright to celebrate "The Little Town That Could" and to help raise money to fund future events and activities.
 
Here's a sneak preview of what's on tap:
  • Start your holiday shopping early at a special FREE Craft Show, featuring more than 20 unique vendors, including: 
        Clariza's Clay Pot Swings - Vertical plant stands
Megan Gilhool - Original Art
Treasures of the Sea -Jewelry and gifts
Salt and Steel - face painting and henna tattoo 
Sweat Sexy - work-out gear
Diaper Cakes - homemade, themed, edible cakes
Pretty Pinsters - Clothes pin crafts
Coyote Gourds - Handmade birdhouses
Jersey Girl Barefoot Sandal - foot jewelry
Scrumptious Scrubs - Homemade soaps and scrubs
Jennie Pennies Craftery - painted custom glassware

  • Add to your winter reading list by checking out the Library's big Book Sale, and great collection of limited edition Sea Bright Sweatshirts, T-shirts, and Baseball Hats.
  • Learn more about Sea Bright's rich history at a special Historical Postcard Display, and talk to some life-long residents who will be on hand to share their experiences.
  • Bring the kids for some great Children's Activities including, Touch-a-Truck, pumpkin painting, a bouncy house and more. ($5 donation buys a wristband for unlimited participation).
  • Browse the displays and learn more about Sea Bright citizen committees including Sustainable Sea Bright, Recreation, Beautification, Dunes, and others.
  • Enjoy a special Dance Performance by Dance Free - Performances at 11 & 2.
All proceeds from the day's events go to support the Sustainable Sea Bright Committee, and Sea Bright's other volunteer committees.
Rain date is October 18.
